It scans in background and from AV reviews is top dog in all labs tested unlike bitdefender that used only 4 labs Kaspersky passed them all! Not sure why some give low stars, probably not computer savvy but installation is easy it actually will remove old stuff for you and install itself and guide you. Got passwords to keep, well Kaspersky keeps them locked up and will clear your clipboard once done or if idle for 1min will lock password manager for you.
